Model: TL-SG3428
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20200729 Rel.73648

Hi

Looking for the firmware upgrade in the TP-LINK support page for hardware version 1.6 (labeled in the switch), I found it in the TP-LINK support page. The oldest firmware version to start the upgrades is TL-SG3428(UN)_V1.6_20210407.

The actual firmware of the switch (out of the box) is:

1.0.0 Build 20200729 Rel.73648

Hardware Version: TL-SG3428 1.0

These are my questions:

1. The hardware version of the label (1.6) is not equal to the hardware version shown by the graphic interface of the switch (1.0). Could I trust that they are the same and proceed?

2. As I can see in the upgrade page, these are all the upgrades required to bring the firmware up to date. Should I run all if the answer to question 1 is yes?

    V1.6_20210407

    V1.6_1.1.1 Build 202105141.0.

    V1.6_20210806

    V1.6_1.1.7 Build 20221130

I appreciate your help.

Hi @Joe2022

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1. Same. V1.6 is the same as V1.0. Different factories with the same hardware pieces. If it's other version, then you should refer to the support page where it explains the different versions.

2. Latest one should be this:
