This is a quick follow up from the previous thread.

 

So, in short. NO, it did not work.

 

But I found something.

 

Forget about Load Balancing, just disable that, BUT do configure the detection on each WAN link.

 

Now go to routing and setup static routes for each WAN with different metrics, less value for the main one and higher value for the secondary.

 

And that's all. Apparently with that you can setup the change over with policy routing, adding BOTH wans, or all the wans (in case of more than two, adjust accordingly).

 

Hopefully this does help anyone who is looking to have ALL WANS active and have policy routing working.
