Hi,

My current topology is like this: Modem(DHCP) + CPE610 + CPE610 + Switch

It works great. But I have added CCTV LAN on switch. I'm thinking to manage high traffic on a Router. So I decided to switch my topology like below.

Modem(on Bridge Mode) + CPE610 + CPE610 +Router(DHCP) + Switch

I am gonna change modem connection to bridge mode via remote management. And terminate ISP on router. I have no physical access to modem. If I lose connection It is very hard to fix modem.

My question is If I switch my modem into bridge mode and set ppoe settings on router, Can I get the connection?

Yes it can work.

However it means the CPEs will be on WAN side of your router. And if there is some issue happen on the CPE, it will be hard to do troubleshooting since you cannot login the CPE from router client PC. To login the CPE you will have to set up static IP on PC and get an Ethernet connection to the CPE directly
