I had a Wavlink AC1200 AP (AP1)connected to my router/modem. Across the park I had a CPE-710 connected to another Wavlink AC1200, let's call it AP2, on the LAN port. So basically clients connected to AP2 and the CPE710 provided a very strong connection to AP1.  The CPE-710 is in isn't mode and connected and locked to AP1 using the Survey.

I decided to get rid of the Wavlinks as they started failing just over a year, and replaced Wavlink AP1 with the EAP225. The issue is the CPE-710, which connected wirelessly without issue to the Wavlink, will not even see the EAP225. This does not make sense to me since both the Wavlink and EAP225 are both in AP mode. Why is this ans is there a way around it. I find it kind of ridiculous that the TPlink works fine with another vendors AP but not it's own.
