Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20220117 Rel.59513

Hello,

Below is my current setup on Port1 of the switch and LAN1 of the gateway.

I want to create a LACP between them using Port1 (Red) and Port 8 (Yellow) of the switch and LAN1 (Red) and LAN2 (Yellow) of the gateway.

when i create the LAG both switch ports became active as Uplink but the controller looses adoption of ER7206 and all traffic is being dropped.

So i would like to ask is it possible at all to achieve 2Gbps in LAG in my configuration?

Hi  @Krinji

ER7206 does not support LAG/LACP.

  @Hank21

Any idea if LACP will be supported for the ER7206 in the near future? There are some threads on the forum too with this request.

  @Tha_host in theory should be possible.

LACP (LAG) is under the same Linux Bonding Driver that supports Load Balancing .

ER7206 already supports Load Balancing so LACP or at least static LAG should be possible on firmware level.

I've written an email to TP-Link and they'll pass it onto the engineer team for investigation.
