Model: TL-SG2218
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20210806 Rel.55686

A DHCP server is set up on the YAMAHA router RTX1210, and some 802.1Q VLANs are created on the switch side.
Each VLAN is assigned an independent IP address,
192.168.10.0/24 for VLAN10
192.168.20.0/25 for VLAN20
I can connect to the Internet, but I can't get the IPv6 address at all.

If you connect it directly to the RTX1210, you can get the IPv6 address. Is it possible to obtain an IPv6 address without some special settings on the switch side? Or does a setting prevent IPv6 from being acquired?

  @Mt.Faith

May I know the VLAN interface is set up on your Router, or on the switch?

If the switch only have VLAN settings, it should not influence the IPv6 and routing;

If the switch also have VLAN interface and work as gateway of your client devices, please enable IPv6 routing on the switch management page L3 features-->Interface

  @Hank21

In the current state, independent IP addresses are assigned to each VLAN as described in the thread above.
192.168.10.0/24 for VLAN10
192.168.20.0/25 for VLAN20
・ ・ ・
192.168.50.0/25 for VLAN50
The switch and router are also connected to two physical ports using LAG.

・ The role of the YAMAHA router
It is the default gateway for each VLAN
It is a DHCP server for each VLAN

・ Switch side settings
The interface of the VLAN is only VLAN50, and "Admin Status" is enabled for the static IPv4 address.
IPv4 Routing is enabled
IPv6 Routing is disabled

If you connect to a port for which each VLAN is set in this state, you can acquire the corresponding IPv4 address, but you cannot acquire the IPv6 address.

Is it enough to enable IPv6 Routing in L3 features-> Interface to enable IPv6 address acquisition? Or do you need an interface for IPv6?
