Model: EAP620 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I am using

Controller OC 200 (1.2.4 Build 20201120 Rel. 51842 )

connected with

5x

EAP 245 ( v 1.2.4 Build 20201120 Rel. 51842 / Hardwareversion 1.0 )

Now i want to connect one

EAP 620HD ( v 1.1.0 Build 20211028 Rel. 68287-4555 / Hardwareversion 1.0 )

but I have the following problem(s):

- Cold not Adopt the New 620HD (Message: "Failed to send adopt command to AP")

- In Standalone after connect to the AP the device shows "No Internet. Stay connected or disconect.." - after 10 seconds staying conected i am in the Internet.

- Sometimes, after a few minutes-hours I have to reconnect, because there are some issuses.

@andre.ganz

It's a bit weird with what you have right now...

If you want to use the EAP620 on the controller, then at least you need to use V4 or above controller(SDN Controller).

But the EAP245 hardware version 1 will only support V2/V3 controller. And from TP-Link website, I can see the latest firmware version of EAP245(V1, pretty old model) is 1.4.0 Build 20180323. Also not compatible with V4 controller. The wired thing is that you have EAP 245 ( v 1.2.4 Build 20201120 Rel. 51842 / Hardwareversion 1.0 ) which is only 1.2.4 but with more recent date(2020/11/20). So you may have either wrong hardware version or firmware version.

I guess you need to upgrade the OC200 to the latest version if you really want to adopt the EAP620 on the controller. But you will lose ALL EAP245.
