I have 2 locations with radios setup projecting 2.4GHz signal of course password protected using WPA2 and I want to see if I can take the PCE210 and connect to those radios. Distance is only about 500-1000 ft. I need an inexpensive solution as the radios in place were over a thousand each and buying 2 more of those is not reasonable. Will the CPE210 connect to a 2.4GHz radio signal that I am able to connect to using standard laptop wifi. I just want to make sure these work with other radios or are they setup to only work with another CPE210 or other TP Link product.

Thanks in advance,

Dee

@DeeAbilene

To my knowledge, the operating bands must match between CPE and radio, the communication is bidirectional, the CPE can receive the 2.4G radio's signal and the 2.4G radio should be transmit the data back.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

I have since purchased one of these radios and tested it, they do indeed work perfectly with our existing business class high end radios. I attached this radio to a Vantage Pegasus dual band on the 2.4GHz side while the 5.8GHz side is feeding network to the whole site. I would highly recommend this product for versatility and ease of use.
