Region : Others

Model : TL-WA7510N

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 3.12.2 bUILD 121108 rEL.59207N

ISP :

Have got 2x WA7510Ns and need to connect 2x wired LANs.

Configured both APs in 'Bridge with AP' mode. All working fine but link disconnects after 15-20 minutes. Have to reboot AP for link to re-establish. Fails again after approx same period.

Reset to factory default, upgraded firmware to latest (Was already running latest... but just in case). Issue remained.

Changed channel on both APs to a non-DFS one and disabled DFS. Link did not drop... has been running for an hour now. Should this make a difference? I really need this link to be consistent without having disconnections. Any suggestions / recommendations?

Thanks

so it seems that his solution was Changed channel on both APs to a non-DFS one and disabled DFS. Link did not drop... has been running for an hour now.

Ok, I am at a camping site in Hungary at the moment and running into the same problem here. Setup I have is a 7510 at the reception of the camping site in AP Bridge mode, making a connection to another 7510 in the middle of the camping site. Connected to this 7510 is a WA5210G AP with an omni antenna to provide 2.4 ghz connectivity on the whole site.

It is all working fine, however, after a few hours people trying to obtain a dhcp lease are refused and get an error connecting to the network. This can only be resolved by resetting the 7510's. Both 7510's run the latest firmware and are, as suggested above, running on a non-DFS channel with DFS disabled. Distance is about 100 meters line of sight. Signal is 100% (tested signal strenght in AP-Client - AP mode)

As I have only 2 days left to complete this job here in Hungary before returning to the Netherlands I do hope someone can help me getting this issue resolved. My email to TP-Link remains unanswered after 2 days and the support number did not give me the confidence of being connected to someone technically able to assist me.

Can anyone please put me in the right direction to resolve this problem?

Thanks and kind regards,

Theo

Too short distance for 7510s in Wireless Advance lower transmit power to low and uncheck Enable high power mode on both 7510s

Have you tried putting the settings in indoor mode ?

Wireless > Distance Setting > Mode (Indoor)

That might work ..

Or Set the distance to 110% of the actual distance.. If distance is 30 meters .. put up 33 meters

my bad, i answered based on 7210, you have it as Max Tx Rate: lower it on both radios, you did not need 2 7510s for 30mts
I cannot get 2x 7510 to talk to each other

thats not a distance issue, you have a setting issue
