Is the datasheet correct? how can a superior(TL-ER7206) router can do less packet forwarding than R605??

What dual-core processor(Single core in case of R605?) is being used for both routers and what are the clock speeds and if they are HT.

I would like to know these details if possible.

I have TL-ER7206, its a bit clunky, what is the most stable firmware that i would be on? Any updates from tplink?
the website has an update from march and this product needs a lot of work.
