My 5210g is connected to the NET , Configuration : Operation mode : AP Client Router, wireless mode : Client
If I connect the 5210g to my computer via the lan cable, it does not resolve DNS'S, I have configured various, but none work for me. I can ping IP's with no problem.
-- Now if I connect the 5210g to my router, where no DNS's are informed I can connect to the SSID of the router and DNS works perfectly. i.e names are resolved.
Does anybody have an idea of what I should do ???

When I look at ipconfig when connected to 5210 via lan the DNS's appear as fec:0......:1%1, fec:0.....:2%1 , fec:........:3%1, an I cannot resolve any names,
When I look at ipconfig when connected through router .. I see the DNS addresses 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.254 and names are resolved

Pabloirl you posted it does not resolve DNS it does not ur ISP is taking care of that

change this third segment from 1 to 0 you end up with 192.168.0.254 better to have them in same subnet
wireless mode : Client you will only receive internet via Lan cable on this mode and is used to repeat WPA security.

Thanks, If I try to change the IP of the access point to 192.168.0.254 I get an error : WAN IP address and LAN IP address cannot exist at a same subnet. Please input another IP address.
Any other ideas ????

Disable DCHP on the 5210. Let it act as an Access Point, any clients you connect to it will pull DHCP from your router. If the router is at 1992.168.1.1, set the AP at 192.168.1.2. If they are not on the same subnet, they will be able to see each other. Once setup, connect to the router and look at your DHCP client table, and you should see your laptop.

Also...try this as a way to test. If you are close to both AP and Router. Connect to the router via ethernet cable, and go out to google.com, just to make sure you have resolution and internet connectivity. Then disconnect cable, and connect wireless to the router, again go to google.com, and check for wireless. Lastly, disconnect and connect to the AP and go to google.com, etc...

Note: If your Router connects to another router or Internet via the WAN port, the AP connects on any of the other ports.
