Client Not Showing in Omada SDN
Client Not Showing in Omada SDN
Hello,
I have a strange bug: I have a client (Raspberry Pi running Raspbian 10) that is not showing up in my client list on Omada. The client is located in "Clients 4" below:
I can ping the Omada SDN and TL-R605 successfully from this client, and it is functioning properly in my network.
Has anyone perhaps seen similar problems, or have any tips for debugging?

@symbiotic_ic we have the same problem. I have a lot of lan devices and they are not showing up. sometimes they would show then disappear for a long time. I hope tp-link fixes it in the next update

Thanks for the feedback. It's unfortunate we have this problem, but now I know that it's perhaps not just something on my end that I'm doing wrong.

I have the same problem, apparently only for hard wired clients. I used to have the problem for wireless as well but it was fixed by upgrading controller to 2.4.11. The clients/managed switches suddenly vanish from the list and appear back in few minutes. At times, the list starts with a few items, and then suddenly grows.
In the logs (under Events), it is showing that my managed switches and some other wired clients disconnect with this message:
5E-3C-22-41-D0-85 was disconnected from network "LAN" on Router(connected time:18m connected, traffic: 0Bytes).
Just to connect back after 4 minutes:
5E-3C-22-41-D0-85 is connected to Router on LAN network.
The funny thing is that while typing this, the machine I am using suddenly appeared in logs as disconnected and disappeared from clients list, however, I'm fully connected and even internet connection works fine.
To me, it is purely a software glitch in Tl-R605. I'm running firmware 1.0.0 Build 20200930 Rel.36519

The bug has not been fixed yet. Latest firmware for tl-r605 to v1.01 with omada controller 4.2.11.
All of my 7 LAN clients will appear on boot but after 5-10min they disappear forever. Only 3 lan clients will be visible

here is a video showing over time that the lan clients disappear. also all the lan clients are connected to the switch (t1500g-8t) not the router (tl-r605) but shows on the controller it is connected to the router another bug. after some time it fixes where the lan client is connected to, but most of the lan clients still cannot be seen.
