Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Looking to purchase the TL-R605 for my home Omada setup; but I'm a bit confused about some of the details on its description page:

  • Reliable and Flexible: Up to 4 WAN connections connecting to 4 different Internet service providers and private links. Bandwidth based, app-based, or automatic line backup allow flexible and reliable use of your wide-area links.**

** Standalone mode only feature

Just to make sure I understand: is this saying that if the TL-R605 is managed by an Omada Controller, it has ZERO multi-wan functionality available? Or is this trying to say there is a limit to the functionality available?

@Dillius

I confirm that using TL-R605 I'm configured one VDSL connection plus 4G connection on WAN 2 and also load balanca/link backup feature:

@Emitplink Thanks for the screenshot. I was worried I would have to wait on the other model.

@PavelV You don't need to disable on LAN, just enable WAN/LAN1 in internet section and apply.

@shberge

Thank you, does it matter if no device is connected to WAN / LAN1 yet?
