I have successfully connected my VPN client (windows) to my network and can route through the tunnel to the Internet, but I can not route to any devices inside my network?  What am I missing??

Your subject is "How do I give a VPN client access to multiple subnets inside my network?". Please note that you need to create multiple VPN tunnel for each subnet.

 

If you are convenient, please tell us which type of VPN you used and how your topology was.
