EAP225-Outdoor doesn't like Cat6 cable?

Installed about 10m of Cat6 cable for an EAP225-Outdoor but can't get AP to work. It powers on and broadcasts SSID but does get an IP address from the router. Swapped it for a standard EAP225 and this works just fine, so no fault with the cable. Took the EAP225-Outdoor back indoors and connect to router with cat5 patch leads and this works just fine.
Any ideas as to why it doesn't work with the cat6 cable?

Check your cable for loose contacts. I use CAT.6 S/FTP cable for connecting EAP225-Outdoor when setting up devices in the lab. For outdoor installations, we usually use even UV-persistant CAT.5e outdoor cables with a ground-wire, since grounding is an essential requirement for any outdor device.
