Hi,

 

I have two C520ws v1 cameras which were purchased at the same time. Today I noticed that there was a firmware update (automatic update is disabled) and I started the update for one camera.
 

However, when I looked at the other one, I saw that there was no update.
 

Previously, due to a problem, a special firmware was provided, I don't know if this could be related.

 

However, currently, one of my 520ws cameras cannot receive a firmware update.
 

Previously, the firmware versions of the cameras were v1.2.10 Build 241218 Rel.40720n, now one is new v1.2.11 Build 250331 Rel.38663n and the other one is still stuck on the old firmware version.

 

I sent the MAC addresses of my cameras via private message.

I have similar situation only one of 3 C520ws cameras got new version 1.2.11

 

Perhaps this is due to the tplink way of phasing updates even you have similar version cameras

 

On the other hand it would be great for tplink to acknowledge there is a new OFFICIAL version available since i started to doubt if this real or not

Hi, 
The new firmware version(1.2.11 Build 250331 Rel.38663n) for the Tapo C520WS V1 is being released gradually. It's normal that some Tapo C520WS V1 detect the new firmware, but some do not. If your camera has not detected the new firmware yet, please be patient and wait for the update to become available.
