Is there ot will there be a way to identify if the cameras are set to Home Mode or Away Mode? ..w/o this I can't remember which Mode it was last in.

Also, how do you disable both modes temporarily?

Hi,
The Home/Away mode settings are preset settings for the cameras. If you do not remember which mode the camera is in, please go to the Home mode or Away mode to check the Detection, Alarm, and Notification settings you configured for your camera, then go to the camera's Device Settings page to check the Detection, Alarm, and Notification settings it currently uses to judge it's in Home or Away mode.
How to edit Home and Away Mode for Tapo Cameras on the Tapo app?

If you don't want to use the settings configured in the Home/Away mode, you can go to the camera's Device Settings page to change its settings manually as per your needs.

Best Regards

Thank6ou. I appreciate the quick reply. I understand the Home/Away presets are based on what I have setup up in those mode settings.

Although it is quite straight forward to activate either of the modes, I still need further clarity. I am still not clear on how I transition out of either mode to what I have setup within the cameras device settings itself ( temporarily not use either of the Home or Away modes).

Can you provide clarity on this for me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The Home/Away mode includes the Detection, Alarm, and Notification preset settings you configured for your camera. Regardless of whether your camera is currently in Home mode or Away mode, if you are not satisfied with your camera's Detection, Alarm, and Notification settings, you can go to your camera's Device Settings page to change them as per your needs, and the changes will take effect immediately.
Best Regards
