when will the feature of different scheduling of notifications be available? this is the only feature lacking! Ring has this feature why cant you provide this as well. This is the reason why i moved to Ring for the meantime.

Hi  @MaxnTeddy, not sure which device you are referring to, but this is possible for cameras and you can always use the automation features to send notifications during multiple and various schedules for most devices...

Maybe provide more specifics and someone from the community or from Tapo can assist.

  @Rbuck

What I meant was, you can only schedule to turn off and on notifications with 1 option:

for example: I want to:

WEEKDAYS:

1. turn off notifications from 5am to 9am

2. turn it on again after 9am when we will the house for work

3. then turn it off again at 5pm -10 pm when we are at home

4. then turn it on again from 10pm to 5 am

WEEKENDS

1. turn off notifications from 5am to 10 pm when we are mostly at home

2. then turn on the notifications from 10pm to 5am

i cannot seem to find the option to do this with TAPO app. While with Ring app you can.

sounds like you are referring to an option to schedule/mute all notifications from the app itself. I don't believe that is possible. However you can do what you ask, (multiple notification windows per device/group of devices) via the automation, however may not capture some general notifications (not device specific).

To do it per device, turn off the specific device notification and create an automation something like the following:

- select new automation

- select effective time, custom time and change the start and end times and days of the week it is required to notify - note that you can add multiple schedules here for a specific notification scenario - i.e. weekdays points 2 & 4  and weekends point 2 as per your example below.

- add a trigger in the "When" option, by selecting "device status change", the specific device and specific triggers (note you can add multiple devices for this notification to be triggered)

- add a condition if needed, I expect not required for this scenario

- add an action of send me notifications and create your custom notification text.

Not sure if this helps... if you are looking for a simple overall app setting then clarify and the Tapo moderators can review and add to the feature list...
