Typically, the camera will upload the detection video clips to our cloud server and store them for 7/30 days after subscribing to the Tapo Care Basic/Premium plan.

The Tapo Care service does not work for some time may be related to the Tapo Care service, but it is more likely related to the camera settings. Currently, there is no feedback that the Tapo Care service has problems on April 11, 2025. If you encounter the problem again, you can check from the following aspects.
  1. Please check if your internet connection is working, make sure you can control the camera remotely.
  2. Check if the camera's Detection settings are configured correctly and test if this feature works fine. Only the detection video clips can be stored on our cloud server.
