Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.5

====================

  • "English version"

I have a VPN network with 4 devices: 3 ER605-V2 routers and 1 ER605-V2.2, all running firmware version 2.2.6. Initially, the three V2 devices worked correctly in standalone mode, successfully connecting to the main office via OpenVPN Client. However, after migrating to the Omada Controller and adopting the devices, a bug prevented the OpenVPN tunnel from automatically reconnecting after a timeout when operating as a client. Downgrading to firmware 2.2.5 resolved the issue.

If I’m not mistaken, this same problem appeared before and was fixed in firmware update 2.2.3 (Build 20231201). Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?

Hi @Elvisbks

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

If you have configured it correctly.

Or I cannot judge based on your description.

Not seen any similar cases from all the sources I know.

If you want to discuss this, please provide the diagram and the screenshots of the config for two sites where they fail to build up a connection.

(Based on your description, that is to say, all four sites cannot link up, regardless of what kind of pairs you have tried?)
