Omada client traffic recordings stopped recording at 62GB of over 230 GB actually used by client
Hello, I have an ER8411 router with 10Gbps connection going into a SG3428XPP-M2 Switch acting as a my core switch with a 10 Gbps connection from that into a SG3210X-M2 Switch in my office.
Today I booted my PC connected to the SG3210X-M2 and over the course of a few hours downloaded 235 GB of various updates and the switch SG3210X-M2 it is connected too has used about 250 GB of throughput (the remaining data was used by other clients connected to the switch) indicating traffic recorded by the switch is correct.
The issue is the client according to Omada has only used 62 GB.. Also, the Deep traffic Inspection report also reports 62 GB of identified data, proving DPI was working 100% correct until it decide to stop recording traffic. So the issue is why did the system simply stop recording the client data after 62 GB ?
I saw a similar issue with a TV connected to another switch in my lounge room, where after a certain time traffic simply stopping counting up.
When ever this happens, the router and switches involved report the correct download and uplink traffic, the issue seems isolated to client traffic records only. To me it is not acceptable to have to reboot the client to fix this every time.
