EAP211 bridge does not work with POE switches
Hi,
I have bought an EAP211 bridge kit to get a more stable wireless connection between two buildings.
When using them with an POE inductor, they power up, LEDs are on, they show up in the omada software, the devices work. So far so good.
However, to not have a multitude of POE inductors, which are a total mess when you have multiple WLAN access points, I purchased POE switches. A managed switch tp-link SG2210MP on one side, and an unmanaged tp-link SG1005P POE switch on the other side. The EAP211 does not work on any of the POE switches. No LED, no signal, they just seem to be dead. (My environment is managed by an OC200.)
I can use any cable (I tested many). Does not change the situation. The devices work with the injector and all cables, and do not work directly connected to the POE switches, with any cable.
Does anyone have an idea? This situation is rather dissatisfying.
