Hello,
I have a question regarding if it's possible to power 5G PoE modem from ER7212PC directly without the need for PoE injectors.

Current setup looks like that: I have modem connected through PoE injector and injector connected to one of the WAN ports on ER7212PC. I'd like to ditch using PoE injectors and connect modem directly to one of PoE ports on ER7212PC but I don't know if it's possible to somehow redirect traffic from that port to WAN.

Is it possible and if yes, can you explain to me how to achieve that?

Hi @lburak

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

The WAN port does not support PoE.

Nor WAN/LAN.

It starts with the LAN with PoE. I don't think it can do what you want.

PoE is data and power. As it is a modem, it should be connected to the WAN but WAN doesn't work with the PoE.
