Poor internet connection

We are experiencing poor internet connectivity on the OC200 wireless network. Wired connections, however, show good speeds. Our network infrastructure consists of a Ruijie main router, TP-Link PoE switches, and TP-Link APs. The network uses a /23 subnet, supporting 510 IP addresses. No VLAN configurations.

2. Verify QoS Configuration

QoS Settings: Ensure that your QoS settings are not limiting the bandwidth for wireless devices. You can configure QoS to prioritize certain types of traffic, but be careful not to overly restrict the bandwidth for wireless clients.

Bandwidth Control: Check the bandwidth control settings on your Omada Gateway (ER605) to ensure that they are not throttling the wireless traffic.
3. Check Device Firmware

Firmware Updates: Ensure that all your network devices (Ruijie router, TP-Link PoE switches, and TP-Link APs) are running the latest firmware versions. Firmware updates can often resolve performance issues and improve compatibility.
4. Reset Network Devices

Factory Reset: If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset on the OC200 and reconfiguring it. This will restore the device to its default settings, allowing you to reconfigure it without any previous settings causing issues.
