Hey,

I'm new to the Omada setup and have trouble with my Proxmox server. I thought I could just unplug it from my all-in-one Ax55 router to the sg2008 switch and that the system would automatically create an IP address for me to go to. This is not the case. I configured the port for all LANs and created an IP binding with the Mac address. It appears in the Omada interface under clients but without an IP address. What could be the problem? I have some ACL but these are from vlan to vlan. the proxmox server and laptop (wifi) are on the same vlan.

Yes I rebooted the pc, router, switch :).

thanks!

@NikolyaProdigy, Hey, after a few hours, I finally found it. I did indeed have to go to the server, plug in a keyboard and monitor, and type some commands to open files where I changed the old IP and gateway to the new one. These are the commands for anyone reading this treat in the future.

nano /etc/network/interfaces
nano /etc/hosts
nano /etc/resolv.conf

@waadd As far as I know, the IP address for Proxmox is installed statically, and not by DHCP.
Try to connect to the Proxmox console and see the server address with the ip a command.
