Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.2.0

I have multiple EAP245 v3 with the same firmware.

I have one that is behind a T2600G-18TS 2.0 that is not managed by Omada. It's a managed switch but via web interface. These two devices (switch and AP) are in a room several brick walls from other similar APs. I don't know why, but wireless devices on that room doesn't connect to the AP in that room. I tried to lock to that specific AP, but then the devices doesn't connect at all.

Is there a problem if the switch is not managed by Omada ? I forgot and readded the AP without problems several times.

The AI WLAN Optimization also fails on this AP

Hi @AndreMartins,

The switch does not need to be managed by an Omada controller and doesn't even need to be a TP-Link switch.

  @D-C

I imagined that much. What is strange is the behavior that only happens with this AP.

Everything else, seems equal.

@AndreMartins,

Try a factory reset and re-adopt if you haven't already and if you're able, swap the AP in that room with another location that works.  If that one AP continues to misbehaive, then it might be time to contact support; hopfully that AP is still under warranty.
