EAP215-Bridge Kit "Disconnected" status after reboot but still work?
Saturday
Model: EAP215-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20240723 Rel. 38150

I have had the EAP215-Bridge Kit installed for 3 weeks and it's been working great. No problems reboot them or anything until today.

I had to unplugged the Remote AP cause I was changing the switch and the status is stuck at "Disconnected". Internet at the bridge is still working though..
I tried power cycling the Bridge to see if that would help, it didn't.

Then I rebooted the Main AP, which still showed "Connected" status and after the reboot it is now also showing "Disconnected".

Now I can't control them at all remotely via the Web UI or App on my iPhone.

Internet is working as expected and they show connected in my Router UI (eero).

How can I fix this? I am using the Omada Cloud Controller, Omada Essentials v1.3.0. Maybe related to this new release?

Thanks

Hi,

I haven't seen that problem myself, also I'm not eperienced with Omada CLoud Essential so that may be wrong, but with Hardware Controller it is using specific ports to communicate with Omada devices. Have you tried to open those ports on your router?

If there's anyone more experienced in this topic then correct me if I'm wrong, please. :)

Cheers

@RaRu Only using the Cloud Controller, no hardware controller was used or setup.

Ports shouldn't be an issue as nothing else has changed on network, it was working until the units were power cycled.

Only change was the Cloud Controller went from 1.2.0 and 1.3.0. On 1.2.0 I could power cycle without them issue and would stay as "Connected".
