Hi!

Is there a way to turn off the blue LED of my EAP 610 access points? I have one installed in a guest room and it is just way too bright at night. I can access the system via http://tplinkeap.net/ but haven't found any option to disable or time the LED. Neither did I find anything in the Omada App.

My setup: I am located in Germany and am using a FritzBox 5590, a locally common modem/router. From the FritzBox I go via LAN into a TP Link TL-SG1005P which adds POE+. From there 2 LAN cables run to 2 EAP 610s (living room and downstairs guest room). And another LAN cable runs to the roof truss where a EAP625-Outdoor HD covers the top floor.

I appreciate your time and help!

Warm regards from Germany,

Leroy Johnson

  @Leroy-Johnson

Hi,

It is possible.

If you are using EAP in Standalone Mode, go to it's config page and:

if you are using Controller to manage your EAP:

Dont forget to Apply (save) the changes.

Cheers.

  @RaRu Thank you for your help - it worked! I feel a bit embarassed that I oversaw this in the options. Thank you for your easy and visual explanation.

I wish you a wonderful rest of your day!
