Port Forward
Hello,
I'm writing here because i need some information, i want to know if its possible to do a port forward from a specifig IP on those model ? Or if we need to chose another router ? Or maybe its just because we don't have the right Firmware ?
Because this model is very easy to use and can do vlan but if we can't restrict forwarding to specific ip to be honest its really annoying, its like the base protection.
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Sincerely Alex,

Why not? This is the most basic function on a router.
I think you could use this:
Virtual Services(Port Forwarding) on the Router Doesn't Take Effect

Hello,
Thanks for the answer, i sorry if my English is bad, or I didn't use the right words, but I think my question was not very clear.
So what i'm asking is, is it possible to have a specific source ip on this router when using the port forward or the forwarding is open for everyone.
(Example : I open the port 8080 on my router for the IP 192.168.1.165 can i restrict access to that forwarding or it is open for everyone ?)
The screenshot in the attachment is from another router, like you can see I can choose limited ip address and chose the IP i want instead of opening it for everyone.

Hi,
I'm not sure if I understood you correctly... So you want to open port (for example 8080) but only for specific external IP (for example 192.168.1.165).
So why don't you use "Limited IP" option?

Re,
Because there is no such option in the ER706W so i was wondering if you knew one tplink with that option.

Regards,
Set up the ACL. It also applies to the WAN. That's the way how you limit the access.
