Remove fixed IP from disconnected clients
Does anyone know how to remove a fixed IPv4 address from disconnected clients? I’m using the cloud controller. Thanks!

Hi @velisiska,
Easiest way is to go to Settings->DHCP Reservation (Under Services) and delete the client record there.
Or...
- Navigate to Insights->Known Clients
- Find the client in the list and click on it
- In the panel on the right, click on Config and uncheck Use Fixed IP Address
Edit: The second option actually just disables the DHCP Reservation for that client and doesn't actually delete the record; so stick with the first option.

@D-C Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a DHCP Reservation tab under Settings -> DHCP Reservation (Under Services).

@velisiska, I updated my controller so UI is a bit different. I also found another post to delete the DHCP reservation but your screen looks different; guessing because it's "Festa" and not "Omada". Not sure where the DHCP Reservations would be in Festa; seems like it would be the same.
Maybe you can try options #2 and hope that someone knows how to edit the DHCP Reservations in Festa to do a complete cleanup later.

@D-C It’s the same situation with option #2—there’s no Known Clients tab under Insights.
It’s honestly baffling that such a basic feature seems to be missing. I’m getting pretty fed up with Festa at this point.

Hi @velisiska
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
The client shows the on-going devices that have a DHCP IP.
It automatically removes it after the device lease time.
Known devices keep track of devices that have joined the network. That cannot be removed as I recall.
