Devices keep disconnecting and reconnecting
I have an OC200, and about 15 EAP 225's (indoor and outdoor)
Some connected via Mesh and some cable.
Sometimes several times an hour random devices will disconnect and instantly reconnect.
And then sometimes if I make a network change, or accidently turn reboot a network switch, the entire network is unaccessable (locally too).
I'm not network savvy at all, I got this system, which used to work very well because it's bascially plug, adopt and play.
Any suggestions?
I appreciate more information might be needed, but I'm not sure what else until told! :)

Hi @kb2910
Sometimes several times an hour random devices will disconnect and instantly reconnect.
>>>What devices are you referring to? The SDN devices EAP225, or the connected wireless clients?
If you are referring to wireless clients, such as mobile phones, you may refer to the following to run some wireless optimization:
How to optimize wireless performance of EAP products
And then sometimes, if I make a network change, or accidently turn reboot a network switch, the entire network is unaccessable (locally too).
>>>Do you mean the controller is not manageable, or the entire network lose Interent?
If it's Internet issue, please check if the main router is still working at that time.

@Vincent-TP thanks for the reply.
So I mean the access points keep disconnecting, then reconnecting, and when the network goes down I mean the entire network is unavailale. The actual main BT Router IS accessable and useable though.
I run a Cat6 cable from the main router, to a TP Link unmanaged switch, that has the OC200 connected, then spurs off in various directions with other ethernet cables and unmanaged switches.
Is there a log on the controller somewhere that might give more information?

Hi @kb2910
Explanation of DISCONNECTED: It means the connected device has lost connection with the controller for more than 5 minutes.
To fix this situation, refer to this link: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3192/
When the access points are disconnected from the controller, is the Internet affected?
If the internet is unaffected, please consider the following:
1) Examine the quality of the wire that is plugged into the controller;
2) Examine the controller's hardware;
3) Replace the controller's power source to ensure a steady power spply;
4) Update the firmware version to the latest.
--------
What kind of change will make the entire network unavailable? Please list some examples. And will these trigger the issue every time? Or sometimes yes, sometimes not?

Thanks for the reply,
Sometimes the controller will send the notification that is it offline, and the entire network (internet and local) is unaccessable. Sometimes the controller will fix itself in about 5-10 minutes and everything will come back as normal, and all the APs automatically readopt etc.
Sometimes the controller won't automatically reconnect and I have to disconnect all APs, and reconnect manually (power on/off) and slowly keep doing this until they are all on.
I've been through the cables as best as I can, and I can't find any cable issues. All APs have their POE injectors too, so I don't think it's a power issue.
I tried replacing the OC200 at the start of winter, with a complete new setup thinking it could be that, but didn't help.
Some forums suggest it could be DHCP related, but I'm unsure where (or what) I would do to edit that?

Try setting your EAPs to a static IP address (Device, Config - IP settings) rahter than DHCP
If they fail to renew their DHCP lease they will show as disconnected as they dont have a valid IP address. Setting them as statics will resolve this. Also, set up DHCP reservations for them (as a fallback in case of factory reset)
Check your DHCP lease time isnt something really silly like 1 minute or something (Settings > LAN network > DHCP Lease Time)
