Model: EAP110   EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

So for contextc3

The problem happens to EAP 110 both v3 (version 1.3.0) and v4 (version 5.0.4), and EAP 225 v3 (version 5.1.6)

We also have EAP 670 v1 (version 1.0.15) and EAP 653 v1 (version 1.0.14) in our network but they aren't affected
We are using Omada Software Controller 3.2.17 for the EAP 110 v3 and Omada Hardware Controller 5.14.32.56 for the rest
Our network topology is Star.

Here is a sample on how the AP's are ditributed.

The problem is that after around a day or two an AP will disconnect from the controller it's random which one it will be and how many disconnects, the AP still has internet however it's annoying that it keeps disconnecting from the controller when it's main purpose is for monitoring. Basic settings such as Channel, Channel Width, and Tx power have been adjusted so it's not an interference issue. Everything is hard wired so no mesh configurations, I wonder if it's a network issue (but I doubt it is), AP is way too old?, Controller issue? I have no clue so anyone out there who could help, I humbly ask for your guidance thank you so much!

Hi  @pines_2600

Your SDN devices (gateway routers, switches, or EAP) may have lost contact with the controller if your controller log is filled with messages stating that they are often disconnecting and reconnecting. The following procedures can be used to verify that the controller and SDN devices are connected, even while the internet is unaffected:
    1) Examine the quality of the wire that is plugged into the controller;
    2) Examine the controller's hardware;
    3) Replace the controller's power source to ensure a steady power supply;
    4) Update the firmware version to the latest.

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!
