Logs - Client Connection Changed (Wired)
Hi, I have been spotting some odd log entries on my controller, and wonder if this is usual, or if there is an issue I need to resolve.
In short, I keep getting logs saying things such like
- Router_VLAN was disconnected from network "Guest" on Office-Routing(connected time:57h46m connected, traffic: 128715.91MB) and connected to network "Work" on Office-Routing.
and then a few seconds later:
- Router_VLAN was disconnected from network "Work" on Office-Routing(connected time:57h50m connected, traffic: 128725.14MB) and connected to network "Guest" on Office-Routing.
Where
Router_VLAN - MAC Address / Port on my Router connected to the switch
Office-Routing - Is the TL-SG2218 Switch with VLAN Interfaces configured - Connected to the router port
Guest - Guest VLAN - VLAN 30
Work - Work VLAN - VLAN 100
Is it normal for a Trunk port that carries multiple VLAN Tagged traffic connected to a 3rd Party router to show as disconnecting/connecting between all of the VLAN interfaces? Otr do I have an issue/misconfiguration I need to solve? Given the connection time is system on time for both interfaces, I am thinking it is just an oddity with the logs and there is no 'disconnection' of the VLAN interfaces on that port at all?
Thanks.
