Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Go to the installation path of Windows Software Controller.

2. Go to folder /bin, double click the mongod.exe.

3. Confirm whether you got the following error message in the popped-up window:

 

  • Window name: System Error
  • Error Message: The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll/ VCRUNTIME140.dll/ VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
