Hi!

I recently purchased an ER605 router. I already had two Omada access points, an EAP225-Outdoor and an EAP610. All devices are being managed through the Omada Cloud Controller Essentials.

I’ve encountered a few issues:
 

1. The network topology is incorrect. The EAPs are each connected directly to the ER605, but the map shows them as if they were connected in series.
2. I was able to assign fixed IPv4 addresses to the EAPs, but I couldn’t do the same for other devices by reserving IPs via MAC address. I found the option to configure port forwarding but not IP reservations. If this feature is not available in the Cloud Essentials version, it doesn’t make sense to have one feature without the other.
3. The download/upload speed on the EAP610 is quite low. I tried setting the channel width to 40MHz (2.4GHz) and 80MHz (5GHz), but it didn’t help. My old Archer C9 running DD-WRT performed better on WiFi AC than the EAP610 does with AX.
4. I have two Wireless LANs. It would be possible to setup the WLANs in different VLANs, in order to limit the access to the Omada devices in one of the WLANs? I would prefer to not setup the guest network because I will loose the Chromecast casting function. I eventually rent my house and this would be a nice feature to the guests, but I don't want them accessing the Omada devices, even though they're managed by a cloud controller.
