Hello, I have 0 network experience and am having trouble setting up my EAP 211 Omada Bridge Kit from my house to the shop.

A little background. I have Starlink as it’s the only option where we live. I have a CPE 210 or 211 currently setup and pointing towards one of our shops. Everything seems to be working there. However I’d like to send internet to our other shop as well which is intended to be for less work and more play (would like faster internet there) which is why I went with the EAP because it was 5GHz vs the 2.4 GHz.

My issue is the setup for the EAP vs the CPE is vastly different. I had to plug the CPE into my computer and do some configuring, where as the EAP Main AP is saying it will sync with the client AP automatically. I have the Main AP plugged into the passive POE adapter that it came with and then that is directly plugged into the router. My first question is, is that the correct setup or do I need something else? I’m not sure what a switch is but I’ve read that that might be an option? Again, no experience with this stuff.

When I go to the tplinkap.com like it says in the book, it says that I’ve encountered an issue. It says I can’t plug directly into the router, which it’s not, it’s plugged into the POE adapter which came with it.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you.
