NVR for C385 setup
Hi,
I want to know which NVR is compatible to setup 8x C385 camera setup. C385 is an 8MP camera however, the NVRs listed on website (like VIGI NVR1008H) have a incoming video bandwidth of 80 Mbps and it can support 8x 4MP cameras as per the specs. Does that mean it cannot support 8x C385? If not, which NVR can be used?

Thanks for posting in our business forum.
If you intend to use it at its maximum resolution, there is no suitable NVR for it.
Consider a dedicated server computer on your local network and installed with VSM to manage these cameras.
Ethernet should be at least 1Gbps for 8*8MP.
Regarding the CPU, it depends. We cannot give a specific model number for it. It should be at least 4-core. For more cameras and decoding, the hardware specs may be more powerful to ensure enough redundancy.
Even the best NVR we have, it cannot meet what you need.
