  @Solla-topee thanks for the reply actually I solved my own question , I was referring to the tool that released the  doorbell from the backing plate .. for some reason I thought it had two prongs , but I simply bent a phone sim removal tool and used that

Hi,
Glad to hear your case is solved. As you can see in the QIG, you can use a pin to detach the doorbell.

Hi, 
What do you mean by the "release tool"? Generally, when new official firmware is released, it will be pushed to the camera/doorbell via the cloud server, and the user can go to the Tapo app to update the firmware.
How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App?
