This guide aims to provide insight into our VIGI camera naming format.

 

This Article Applies to:

 

All TP-Link new VIGI cameras.

 

Naming Format:

 

Let's break it down:

 

Insight S345S-W-4mm

 

Model Number Field Example Description
Insight S345S-W-4mm Series Name InSight Series names, including EasyCam and inSight.
  S (First Letter) S S: InSight Series
C: EasyCam Series
  3 (First Number) 3 2: Dome Camera
3: Bullet Camera
4: Turret Camera
5: Pan Tilt Camera
6: Fisheye Camera
  4 (Second Number) 4 2: 2MP
3: 3MP
4: 4MP
5: 5MP
8: 8MP
  5 (Third Number) 0 0-9 (except for 5): Small updates in appearance or functions
5: Metal Shell
  S (Feature Letter) S P: Panoramic
S: ColorPro Night Vision
V: Mixed Varifocal
I: Infrared
DP: Dual-Lens Panoramic
Z: Optical Zoom
Empty: Full Color
