Hi,

I'm trying to set default configuration to the lan ports so that any adopted AP will get vlan X on ETH3 and POE on.

Manually it's in Config > Advanced > ETH Port Settings

Really annoying when you are installing couple of hundreds on a site...

Is it possible?

Many thanks!

  @DannyA

Try Batch Config function.

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!

@Vincent-TP Thanks, but batch configuration doesn't solve the challenge.... It can be applied once we've finished to adopt all the APs.

We are installing hotels (wifi + TV) and need the correct vlan for the TV... we must finish configuration while we are in the room - so basically, batch configuration is too late...

We would like to set the default configuration so once the ap is adopted - it already has the vlan (and poe in some sites that get also stb). This small issue "costs" us at least extra 3 minutes, which means that in an average hotel of 250 rooms it's an extra 12.5 hours of work...

Thanks!

  @DannyA

Unfortunately, that's not possible yet.

We have feedback this feature to our R&D team.  Thanks for getting this to TP-Link.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!
