Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 2.00

I have a ER605 on 2 wans.

WAN is Xfinity

WAN/Lan1 is Verizon

I have failover set for online detection primary being WAN(Xfinity) secondary being WAN1(Verizon).

The problem having is the Xfinity connection never fully drops but will randomly drop to about 1 Mbps so the router never fails over to verizon that as a consistent 100+maps.

Is there a way to set it up that if the Xfinity connection gets slower than the verizon connection that it fails over to the backup?

Xfinity is Gig speed most of the time but randomly drops to basically nothing.

Hi @Wintergrasped

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Only when the link is offline can the router switch to the backup link.

As long as it still works, it won't switch.

Speed is not the basis of the link backup. Only the online detection results.
