Access Point Help
Hey all - I have a ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 router. I added two TP-Link EAS650 access points to provide good coverage in our office (about 4K sq ft). I understand that I can't "extend" the WiFi from the ASUS, and that's fine. So I set up a new WiFi network via the access points using the Omada Controller software (v 5.13.30.8). However, I need to be able to access a printer plugged into the ASUS with a static IP address.
The router is handling DHCP. I have the WAN DNS set up to use 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. I have the LAN set up to point to the router for DNS.
The access points both show up as "Connected" in the controller software. They are both set up using DHCP, with no fallback IP. set up in a Mesh, with both
I have Computer A plugged into the router (to simulate the printer we will need to connect), and Computer B connected to the WiFi provided by the access points. Both show up as connected devices in the ASUS (along with the access points). Computer B shows up in the list of clients in the Omada Controller. Both are showing the correct gateway (ASUS router) and DNS server (ASUS router).
However, I can't talk to each other. From the router, I can ping Computer A. However, I can't ping Computer B. And I can ping either computer from the other.
Would this be a setting in Omada Controller that is preventing this? I'm just not finding what might control that.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
