EAP620HD v1 1.1.0 - SSID Broadcast feature doesn't take effect
Recently we received feedback on the EAP620HD v1 on firmware 1.1.0 that disabling "SSID Broadcast" feature doesn't take effect. After unchecking "SSID Broadcast", some wireless devices still can find the SSID in the available WLAN list.
The issue is also reported here but there hasn't been an update for a long time for the V1 hardware version: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/517332?sortDir=ASC&page=1

Hi @cgelis
May I confirm your EAP version, is it EU version or it is US version? Please try to upgrade to the EAP620HD V1_1.1.1 from the link you sent and see whether it works.

Hi @Hank21
There is no 1.1.1 released for EAP 620 HD V1. There is one for EAP 660 HD V1 and EAP 620 V2 in the link. I may be missing it though :)
My EAP is a EU version btw.

Hi @cgelis
Sorry for my mistake. May I confirm your controller version? And did you make any change when this issue occurred?
And please help to confirm some details about the issue and the troubleshooting you had tried. For example, had you tried to factory reset the EAP and adopt it again, and see whether it will have improvement?

btw the firmware in https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/616026 solves the issue
However it's a beta release, I believe it needs to be released as 1.1.1.
