System time problem for T2600G-28TS

After manual set the system time to current time, e.g. 2024-01-25 10:45

save config

reboot switch

the switch system time went back to 2006-01-01 08:00

Simple:

For each reboot, or (shutdown & power on), then system time will go back to 2006-01-01 08:00

save config

reboot

Time go back to 2006-01-01

Hi @comp-eng-louis

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

This is expected to be normal. The flash does not save time but requires you to sync manually.

Or if your model supports the Omada controller, you can use the controller to proactively sync the time to the switch.
