This is what i plan to setup 

 

I have an ER605 and i wanted to connect it to a EAP615-Wall and have a mesh setup 

 

Is below possible?


Basically im setting EAP615-Wall as the source and other EAP will be part of the mesh

I've answered this question at least 3 times in the last 3 weeks, maybe next time a little search or even just read the datasheet?  

 

None of the TPlink Wall APs will mesh.  Sad but true.

I did, also i found some replies on reddit that claim they made this wall mounted ap mesh with other omada EAPs. so i figured i asked here. and yeah sorry for not searching enough.

  @Mikram I have a EAP610 and EAP615.

 

They work fine together if your using Omada, if you don't use Omada not so much.  Not really a Mesh type thing but you can specify to drop wireless clients at a certain signal strength and also there is fast roaming and the AI Optimiser.......

 

PLUS......  you can technically just assign certain devices to said access point so there are many options.

 

I was just being cheap at the time and didn't want to get a second EAP610 as I had a lan cable hanging down in the other location and needed the extra lan ports from the EAP615 anyway so.
