Model: TL-SG2008
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 4.0.7

Hello

I have a non Omada (TL-SG108E - Easy Smart Switch) between Omada devices.

Everything seems to be working but the event log shows the switch cycling across VLANs every 5 minuts or so.

What could be the cause?

EDIT: All devices running latest firmware. EAPs runnign latest Beta

Hi @Gogan

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

It is recognized as a client. I don't think there is any issue with the switch or the controller. It does not hurt anything or you experience any issues with the network.

The previous controller update added features like this to tell when a device/client is connected. Because this is not an Omada switch, it is recognized as a client and it appears in the log as a client.

Hi @Clive_A

But why the frequent connection/disconnection? About every 5 minutes it logs a disconnection followed by a imediate connection to another VLAN

This model supports EEE. That may be the cause. It cannot be disabled.
