Model: EAP615-Wall
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.6

Have an ongoing issue. I've installed multiple Omada sites, but I'm really having problems with one. I'm going back tomorrow (Dec 12) and would like to have an engineer help troubleshoot the site.

There are 5 AP's. 4 EAP615's and 1 EAP610. They are connected to a SG2008P. The 610 is powered by a PoE injector. The OC200 is powered by USB. The router is connected to the switch and is an ER605v2.

The client cannot connect to multiple AP's intermittently. Even when standing right next to them. There are no errors in the logs showing AP's disconnecting. There are no noteworthy events I can find. I've re-terminated cables. All cables passed a cable test. After a system reboot the issue goes away. I've witnessed it myself, and even swapped out AP's thinking a unit was bad. Need some help.

  @YourInternetGuy

  1. Check stable power for APs.
  2. Update firmware on EAP615-Wall and EAP610.
  3. Verify non-overlapping channels.
  4. Reset config on one problematic AP.
  5. Confirm consistent SSID configs.
  6. Reach out to Omada support for help.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Maybe it's just a problem with power supply fluctuations, suggest observing it continuously, here is a Beta new firmware you can give it a shot if you want.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
