My company recently purchased two ER8411 vpn routers in order to setup VPN between sites and high speed connections.

The idea was to test the setup before deploying to 10 sites.

Unfortunately, the openvpn connection is not working. The idea was to connect to router to CloudConnexa by deploying an OpenVPN  client on the router.

The connection is said "Enabled" in the OpenVPN client list, the tunnel is shown in the list but with "Up Time" always at 0 days 0 hours 0 mins. 

Indeed, the connection keep restarting in a loop.

Configuration : 

• AES-256-CBC / SHA256

Also, the VPN client configuration should allow for url (domain) in the "Remote Server" field.

Is there any way to debug the connection ? Is there plans to actually have an openvpn client up to date ?
