Port forwading

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue we are facing with our recently purchased TP-Link ER7206 router.
We have been attempting to utilize the port forwarding feature on the router, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be functioning correctly. Despite following the instructions provided in the user manual and making the necessary configurations, the port forwarding doesn't appear to be working as expected.
To provide you with a better understanding of the problem, here are the details of our network setup and the steps we have taken:
- Router Model: TP-Link ER7206
- 2x WAN Modem -> TP-Link ER7206 -> DVR
Steps taken for port forwarding:
- Accessed the router's administration interface through the web browser.
- Navigated to the "NAT -> Virtual Server" section.
- Entered the relevant port numbers and IP addresses for the devices we want to forward ports to.
- Saved the changes and ensured the settings were applied.
Despite completing these steps, we have been unable to establish successful port forwarding. We have also attempted to troubleshoot the issue by rebooting the router, double-checking the configurations, and ensuring that the necessary ports are open on our firewall.
Considering our reliance on proper port forwarding for our network activities, we kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. If possible, could you provide us with detailed instructions or any potential solutions to troubleshoot and rectify this issue?
