Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Hello Everyone!

I've got a network built with two TP-Link devices: FW/Router ER605 v1 and switch TL-SG108PE. ISP provides me internet and IPTV on dedicated ONT ports - internet (port 1) and TV (ports 2&3). To get internet and TV in one room I had to create VLANs (VLAN1 for internet and VLAN2 for TV) with single trunked port. VLAN2 (TV) is done only between LAN ports in FW/router and switch. It doesn't go out to WAN.

ISP provides IPTV service as multcast. I don't know ports for this service. Using VLANs between LAN elements I can get IP from DHCP, EPG and other information on set-top-box (probably it is a web service), but I can't get a video/sound.

I suppose that multicast service is blocked by FW/router on LAN ports. I've configured access control list (LAN->LAN, any traffic, any port, ALLOW) and IGMP, but still same.

I can see that multicast services are available on switch:

Help!

Best regards

Dominik

  @DominikP

Hello, did you enable IGMP on the ER605 either?

You can also try to upgrade the ER605 firmware to 1.2.3 to test.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo

Hi! Yes, I enabled IGMP on router. I think a problem with ER605 is that IGMP is dedicated to WAN port, not LAN port used by me.
